2010 Pemón Health Summer Internship Program

Pemón Health offers an 8-week internship to students looking to transform their passion for global health, education and economic development into social action. Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Support the village doctor in the local clinic
• Develop a sustainable agriculture program
• Expand the waste management system
• Conduct educational workshops in local schools
• Travel to remote communities for additional outreach

Applicants with demonstrated interest in a particular field are encouraged to design an independent initiative to be carried out during their time in Venezuela.
